Submit in JPEG or PSD(photoshop) format. For articles, separate your text in the email and I shall do the simple typesetting arrangement.
If you know how to add text and logos, please do so beforehand.
A resolution of 200-300 pixels per inch will be ideal but Note* after compression of Pdf, quality will be not be the same.
This will not be a stuck up magazine. Singlish, malay and chinese dialects can be used(toning down the vulgarities) There are still restrictions, sexual, illegal, and accussations are not allowed.
There is no fixed genre. We will have topics and sections such as;- News (Local and sometimes global news)
- Cover Story (cover girl/boy/group interview)
- Food (Hawker centres, restaurants, buffets...)
- Fashion( Boutiques, pushcarts, blogshops...)
- Health
- Humour, Comics & Jokes( send in your jokes)
- Blogs articles( By local bloggers, recommendations are considered free ads)
- Photography
- IT
- Gaming
- Arts
- Music (Local singers, musicians...)
- Events and Exhibitions
- And many many more, if you want to add a new section can liase with me. In mean time, we will not have everything in our 1st issue but gradually over the months we will have them and even appoint resident writers for the particular sections and topics.
Note* For February 2010 issue, advertising charges as follows;
- $20 per page, $30 for 2 pages( Only for blogshops and pushcarts)
- $30 per page, $40 for 2 pages (small and medium enteprises)
- $?? (MNCs and huge corporations , negotiable)
- $10 per ad space (1/9 of A4) size Kiassified Ads( Classified)
- Fees are inclusive of simple typesetting but not inclusive of graphics designing and photography.
- Payments will be by cash or POSB bank transfer only. Account no. will be given to you after vetting through the ads. Thank you.
Least of all, we need SPONSERS, lots of sponsers. Locations, clothings, accessories ,moola(money)...etc for our cover photoshoots. Give me a call if you would like our cover girl/boy/group feature your products or your business venue (Hotel, restaurants, cafe...)
